Objectives and research areas:
- manufacturing and applying new alloys, ceramics, composites, semiconductors, polymers with more improved features in comparison to common materials
- identifying and analyzing the valuable materials and compounds in mineral waste and other resources of Kerman province and introducing new ways for transforming them to new products and refining the industrial wastewater and sewage and turning them into new engineering materials with added value
- synthesizing and applying new methods of manufacturing the organic and mineral materials for specific applications including industries relating to medicine and drugs, catalysts, and protection of materials and biomaterials
- synthesizing and investigating prevention performance of new organic compounds with the aim to prevent metal and alloy corrosion in industry
